Here’s a map I did for a ride that took place yesterday. It’s for the non-profit organization CicLAvia, which I work for. Though it went really well, it was sort of the not-a-CicLAvia consolation prize ride, because we’d announced a full-on CicLAvia event for July 10th 2011, then had to cancel… so we hosted a group ride. I was planning to do more little drawings showing buildings, etc (somewhat like my earlier bridges map) but ended up doing a map that’s relatively plain and informational. CicLAvia designer Colleen Corcoran added the text. Colleen does awesome design work – she and I collaborated earlier on this bicycling stork baby shower invitation.
